Topdeck: Belgrade

Belgrade was possibly the most unremarkable city I visited on the tour.

We had to wait at customs for over an hour – this was the view from my window.

When we finally got into the city centre, we found that there were still war-damaged buildings all over the place. It didn’t exactly feel safe.

Belgrade was, however, the first time we’d camped out. I think you’ll agree that I make this tent look good. Poor Alex would soon regret choosing to share with me…

Next Stop: Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
