Topdeck: Plitvice Lakes

To round off our 5 day stay in Croatia we visited this beautiful national park in the north of the country. I’ll let the pictures do the talking here because words won’t do the place justice.

There are waterfalls everywhere...

And the lakes themselves go on for miles. Unfortunately you’re not allowed to go in swimming, which would have been nice considering it was close to 30°C that day.

Back at the campsite that night we threw a “fez-party” – basically wear anything you want as long as you’re wearing a fez. There were a few sore heads and few pieces of lost Turkish headwear the next morning as we left the country. It’d been an excellent few days in Croatia though, it’s a place I will definitely go back to.

Next Stop: Budapest, Hungary.
